Abstrakt: The article discusses factors affecting international migration. International migration is receiving political attention as an important contentious issue. Economic resources, international relations, and domestic labor markets are important factors for determining the potential policy measures controlled by a state. International migration policies are products of particular historical conditions and times. Certain migrants, such as refugees and temporary workers, can be accepted or excluded in a given country at different rates over time.
