Abstrakt: The article presents information on the effect of losses in the wave guide walls on the resonance characteristics and energy parameters of a narrow longitudinal wave guide slot. Until the present day, the computations for waveguideslotted radiators have been performed using the approximation of perfectly conducting wave guide walls. It is explained by the fact that the exact solution to the problem of the field determination with boundary conditions corresponding to a real conductor is rather difficult to achieve, because in this case new transverse functions and eigenvalues should be defined. The study found that the losses in the wave guide walls reach a maximum at the resonance frequency and increase as the slot length increases.
