MECHANISMS USED TO UNLOAD CONTAINERS WITH GARBAGE RESIDUES.

Abstrakt: The paper begins with a short history of evolution of the garbage gathering vehicles, especially of the road vehicles after the world first war. The initial gathering of garbage has been made in great bins of the metallic container type or in small bins of plastic. To lift and unload today's bins into the body of special collecting trucks, planar linkages as manipulators are used, being endowed with gripper systems. Several kinematical schemes of type mono- and bi-mobile mechanisms are analyzed, these being driven with one and two linear actuators. The kinematical geometry of these planar manipulators is showed through the scale drawing of the kinematical scheme in the two lifting and unloading phases of the garbage bins. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
