Researchers at Jazan University in Saudi Arabia conducted a study comparing the effectiveness of a needle-free local anesthetic technique to the traditional syringe method for dental procedures on young permanent teeth. The study found that the needle-less injection system provided faster anesthesia administration and lower pain perception levels in pediatric patients. The research suggests that the needle-free system could be a promising alternative for dental anesthesia, improving patient comfort and reducing fear associated with traditional injections.
