A recent study conducted by researchers at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health explored the impact of neighborhood greenness on the long-term physical and psychosocial quality of life among prostate cancer survivors. The study, which included 1437 individuals diagnosed with non-metastatic prostate cancer between 2008 and 2016, found that greater neighborhood greenness was associated with fewer vitality/hormonal symptoms during long-term survivorship. However, other domains of physical and psychosocial quality of life did not show significant differences based on greenness levels. The study highlighted the potential benefits of neighborhood green spaces for promoting well-being among prostate cancer survivors. [Extracted from the article] |
