A recent study conducted by researchers at Dongguk University in South Korea explored the relationship between clinical nurses' work environment, job stress, health locus of control, and presenteeism. The study found that factors such as work environment, job stress, and health locus of control significantly impacted job impairment and productivity among nurses. The researchers suggested that interventions focusing on improving the work environment and addressing individual-level factors could help reduce presenteeism and enhance productivity in healthcare institutions.
