Abstrakt: Researchers at Koneru Lakshmaiah Education Foundation in Andhra Pradesh, India, have developed ZnO/nZVI nanoparticles synthesized with Jackfruit peel extracts to enhance water purification in solar desalination systems. The study focused on improving the removal of pharmaceutical contaminants like cephalexin from water. By combining activated carbon and bioactive powdered nanoparticles, the researchers achieved high absorption efficiencies for cephalexin removal. The study also explored the thermodynamic aspects of the process and concluded that using silver balls in the distillation system could advance the field of thermal energy transduction.
