Interoperability between Current Research Information Systems (CRISs) plays an important role in unlocking the full potential of research information. This paper introduces a case study within the FAIRCORE4EOSC project that aims to integrate data from three CRIS systems using the new CERIF2 model as a common integration target. We present the key features of the CERIF2 model and the Metadata Schema and Crosswalk Registry (MSCR) that is developed in the project. We describe the process of designing a crosswalk from one of the source systems, the Finnish national CRIS Research.f i, to CERIF2 and report on the current status of support in the MSCR. Finally, we discuss the lessons learnt and outline planned future steps. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
