Abstrakt: A recent study from Duke University School of Medicine examined different bone block options for treating glenoid bone loss and glenohumeral instability. The research included 25 studies evaluating 870 shoulders and found that the congruent arc Latarjet technique restored higher percentages of glenoid surface area compared to the traditional arc Latarjet method. The study concluded that the distal clavicle bone block is a suitable alternative to the traditional method, as it showed equivalent results in glenoid width and surface area restoration.
