•Review operative technique to remove larger size polyps during office hysteroscopy (HSC). •Reminder of the necessity of sampling all pathology during HSC cases. •Single case report. •Outpatient Gynecology Clinic. •61 yo P2 F who presented to Gyn clinic for well women visit with chief complain of PMB. •Office HSC Polypectomy. Pathology results showed •Fragments of benign Endometrial polyp; •P53-aberrant atypical glandular proliferation, highly suggestive of high-grade serous carcinoma, involving small fragment of detached tissue. •If only the largest 5cm polyp was obtained, endometrial cancer diagnosis would have been missed [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
