This paper explores the relationship between communication training and the human resource department (HRD) field, noting the variety of career opportunities it may provide for speech communication graduates. Additionally, the authors argue that the active pursuit and placement of speech communication graduates in HRD positions would be of mutual benefit to the speech communication and HRD fields. |
