University of Lleida researchers conducted a study on the experiences of individuals undergoing chronic psychiatric treatment in a socially marginalized neighborhood in Southeastern Spain. Using the photovoice methodology, participants took and selected 41 photographs to express their perspectives on health and medication. The study identified two major themes - conflict and motivation - in relation to the therapeutic meaning of medication. This research provides valuable insights into the lived experiences of individuals with high treatment adherence in the region. [Extracted from the article] |
