A study conducted by researchers at Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine explored the effects of Fei-Yan-Qing-Hua decoction (FYQHD) on influenza virus infection in mice. The results showed that FYQHD reduced viral load, increased type I interferon production, and restored intestinal integrity. The study suggests that FYQHD may attenuate influenza virus-induced injuries by modulating gut microbiota and enhancing acetate production.
