The article focuses on developments related to the police in the U.S. The International Association of Women Police (IAWP) Region 10 Members Judy Riggle, Susan Nangle, and Jennifer Jackson of the San Francisco Police Department, have been promoted to Sergeant. Both Riggle and Jackson became involved in the IAWP after having participated in planning the IAWP San Francisco 2003 conference. Roth Riggle and Jackson went to the conference in Boston, and Riggle is looking forward to going to Leeds for a conference. San Francisco Police Chief, Heather Fong, who is also an IAWP member, made several promotions of women to the rank of sergeant. |
