Abstrakt:	The article offers guidance for creating a benchmark for student achievement or performance in higher education institutions, particularly in a radiology technology program. It outlines the components of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) assessment pan. Factors considered when creating a benchmark include ability of students to meet a program's minimum level of achievement, positional competence, historical data trends and communities of interest.
