Researchers at the University of Nebraska Medical Center have developed and validated a method for quantifying MO-OH-Nap tropolone in mouse plasma using liquid chromatography coupled with tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS). MO-OH-Nap is a compound with anti-proliferative properties in cancer cell lines. The method was successfully applied to determine MO-OH-Nap metabolic stability, plasma protein binding, and bio-distribution in mice. This research was supported by the National Cancer Institute and Hyundai Hope on Wheels Young Investigator Grant. [Extracted from the article] |
