The article focuses on the challenging diplomatic relationship between Sardinia and Morocco through the activities of the Sardinian Consulate in Tangier from 1818 to 1825. Topics include the failed attempt to establish a trade treaty by consul Gräberg, the deterioration and stagnation of relations, and the eventual reconnection marked by the treaty of 1825 amidst internal diplomatic crises in Tangier. |
