Abstrakt: This article from Scout Life magazine highlights two stories of young scouts who demonstrated bravery and quick thinking in emergency situations. In the first story, 13-year-old Molly Thalen saved her grandmother after she fell and hit her head. Molly applied pressure to stop the bleeding and kept her grandmother calm until help arrived. In the second story, 10-year-old Alexander Taylor rescued a woman from drowning while swimming in Hawaii. He swam with her until they reached shallow water, where they were assisted by her husband and a friend. Molly and Alexander were both recognized for their heroic actions with awards.
