Abstrakt: A recent report from Tri-Service General Hospital in Taipei, Taiwan, discusses the case of a 52-year-old male with primary cardiac angiosarcoma, a rare and aggressive malignancy. The patient initially presented with cardiac tamponade, which led to the subsequent diagnosis of the tumor. Prompt recognition and interdisciplinary collaboration facilitated successful surgical resection and favorable short-term outcomes. However, the overall prognosis for primary cardiac angiosarcoma remains poor due to the aggressive nature of the disease. The report emphasizes the importance of early recognition, comprehensive diagnostic evaluation, and aggressive multimodal treatment strategies. [Extracted from the article]
