This article explores the life and achievements of Warren Thompson, an African-American entrepreneur who founded Thompson Hospitality, a multimillion-dollar foodservice company. Thompson's journey began with various business ventures, including landscaping, hog farming, and pest control. He went on to work for Marriott Corporation before starting his own company. Thompson Hospitality now has contracts with 15 HBCU colleges and universities, providing food services and facilities management. The company also offers scholarships and internships to hospitality management students and has received numerous awards and honors.
