Abstrakt: By using literature, expert interviews, comparative research methods. this paper reviewed global sports governance practices and relevant hot topics, analyzed new development trends such as the construction of social responsibility, the sport for development, the evaluation of sports governance, compared the governance mechanism of world sport governing bodies and the governance experience of international intergovernmental sports organizations. This research examined the institutional innovation measures of football governance in developed countries and summarized the inspiration to the innovation of sports governance in China. The study holds that global sports governance subjects pay more attention to sports for development to assume international social responsibilities and solve global governance problems, and sports in good governance research is shifting from value speculation to practical evaluation. The improvement of the internal governance structure of national associations and the establishment of the partnership and coordination mechanism of international intergovernmental sports organizations is an important way to improve the level of sports governance and achieve a win-win situation in regional sports governance. How to build an efficient, orderly and resilient football governance system is an important area of global sports governance research. China' s sports governance reform and innovation need to conform to the new trend of global sports governance, researchers should closely combine theory and practice, fit in with international and domestic, and integrate different disciplines and different practice fields to make new contributions to global sports governance.
