A recent study conducted by researchers from Ningxia Medical University in Yinchuan, China, explored the use of liposomal gel loaded with a pro-xylane intermediate (PXYI) to promote the healing of chronic wounds. Rat models of chronic wounds were used to test the effectiveness of the gel, and the results showed that the PXYI-LG group had significantly higher wound healing rates and shorter healing times compared to the normal saline group. The study concluded that the PXYI-LG gel can effectively promote chronic wound healing. This research has been peer-reviewed and published in the Pakistan Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
