A new report from Bologna, Italy discusses research conducted at the Pituitary Unit on the topic of meningeal neoplasms. The report focuses on a case study of a 57-year-old woman with a recurrent spheno-orbital meningioma. The researchers used a combined endoscopic transorbital and transmaxillary-pterygoid approach, followed by radiation therapy, to successfully remove the tumor with no complications or neurological sequelae.
