Date Presented 03/27/20 The purpose of this scoping review was to evaluate the use of CBT to treat sleep disturbances in individuals with a TBI. The review, consisting of five articles, indicates that individuals with TBI who participated in CBT experienced improved sleep outcomes and a reduction in comorbid symptoms including anxiety, depression, and pain. An adequately powered randomized controlled trial using a standardized CBT-I program tailored to individuals with TBI is warranted.
