Abstrakt: In the content of the article you will find a connection of contemporary plagiarism with plagiarism forms from ancient times, from the time of the Greek philosophers. You will also find several definitions of plagiarism and self-plagiarism, as well as the obligation to capitalise on the results obtained from scientific research, and opinion of the illustrious Romanian and international professors, in the field of copyright and intellectual property.
