The article discusses the aftermath of a phishing attack on the Atlanta Public Schools in 2017. The attack occurred during a period of remote learning due to Hurricane Irma, and employees received phishing emails asking them to reset their passwords. As a result, 34 employees had their paychecks stolen after falling for the scam. The incident highlighted the need for increased cybersecurity measures in schools and the importance of collaboration, information sharing, and proactive approaches to prevent future attacks.
