Abstrakt: A recent report from the Fifth Medical Center of Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) General Hospital in Beijing, China, explores the role of carnosine dipeptidase 1 (CNDP1) in liver cancer. The researchers utilized gene expression data and conducted various analyses to investigate the relationship between CNDP1 expression and immune infiltration, as well as survival outcomes in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and other types of cancer. The study found that decreased expression of CNDP1 is associated with a poorer prognosis in HCC and other cancers, suggesting that CNDP1 may serve as a potential prognostic biomarker. Further research is needed to fully understand the implications of CNDP1 in oncogenesis. [Extracted from the article]
