The Little Walter Foundation recently celebrated the birthday of blues harmonica player Little Walter at Chicago's Bassline Lounge. The event featured a screening of the film Cadillac Records and performances by Mud Morganfield and Freddie Dixon, sons of Muddy Waters and Willie Dixon, respectively, as well as Billy Branch and Matthew Skoller. The event was co-produced and hosted by Lynn Orman, King George, and Marion Diaz, Little Walter's daughter and founder of the foundation. Attendees included family members of blues legends such as Howlin Wolf and Mud Morganfield. The foundation is open to future collaborations and aims to bring blues families together.
