Abstrakt: A study conducted by investigators at the Sichuan Academy of Medical Sciences in Chengdu, China, examined the relationship between nutritional status and clinicopathologic factors in cancer patients using a smartphone-based self-administered nutritional assessment tool called R+ Dietitian. The study found that malnutrition is prevalent among cancer patients and that the R+ Dietitian accurately reflected the characteristics of malnutrition in these patients. The tool also predicted hospital stay and cost, suggesting its potential for improving the efficiency of nutritional management for cancer patients.
