Abstrakt: A 32-year-old male patient presented to the maxillofacial surgery service with a 3-month history of an increasing volume in the anterior region of the left maxilla and elevation of the nasal wing. Upon intra-oral examination, a firm swelling with hypercolored areas was observed, involving the left anterior vestibule, hard palate, and resulting in mobility of maxillary teeth. In the patient's medical history, there were no significant findings. A previous incisional biopsy had reported a Central Giant Cell Lesion. Tomographic examination revealed an expansive lesion measuring 7cm in its largest diameter, with bone destruction affecting the nasal fossa, floor, and roof of the left maxillary sinus, along with root resorption. The patient underwent enucleation of the lesion under general anesthesia via the Weber Ferguson access. Microscopic examination confirmed the previous histopathological report. During the postoperative follow-up, the patient developed an oroantral fistula. Subsequently, he was referred for the fabrication of occlusive prostheses, which were successfully obtained. In the 10-month postoperative follow-up, there have been no recurrences of the condition. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
