Abstrakt: Pleomorphic adenoma (PA) is a common benign salivary gland tumor. This abstract presents a clinical case of a 49-year-old white female with a PA in a minor salivary gland located on the palate, which had been evolving for two months. The patient sought evaluation by a Stomatology specialist. Clinically, the lesion manifested as a unilateral, well-defined, irregularly shaped, infiltrative, and painful mass. The management of this case is detailed, leading to the definitive diagnosis of PA, with the aid of complementary clinical examinations including panoramic radiography and computed tomography. The oral and maxillofacial surgeon employed a conservative surgical technique to minimize intraoperative and postoperative complications. After 7 months, the patient underwent follow-up, and no clinical signs of recurrence have been observed thus far. Considering that PA can potentially undergo malignant transformation, it is of utmost importance to establish a proper diagnosis, conduct periodic consultations, and institute the most appropriate treatment.
