Abstrakt: Parkinson's disease is a progressive neurodegenerative disorder associated with significant morbidity and mortality. Motor disturbances and genitourinary infections, linked to the disease, often lead to hospitalization. This case involves a 64-year-old polymedicated female patient with a fifteen-year history of Parkinson's disease, admitted to the hospital due to a urinary tract infection. The dentistry service was summoned to the multidisciplinary team during her hospital stay because of labial mucosal injuries. On extraoral examination, dry lips with crusts were observed. Intraoral examination revealed ulcerations on the inner region of the lower lip, possibly associated with lower teeth in a root state with sharp edges. The tongue and hard palate also exhibited brownish crusts. Throughout the care process, the patient displayed pain and agitation. Treatment involved the extraction of all residual dental roots, followed by hospital discharge to minimize further complications for the patient. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
