Abstrakt: In the article, the author discusses the alleged flaws of the federal campaign finance laws in the U.S. that allow outsiders to coordinate monetary contributions and expenditures without punishment and his proposed reforms to address them. Also cited are the reasons why the Federal Election Commission (FEC) is ineffective in addressing illegal campaign funds and the provisions of the 1971 Federal Election Campaign Act (FECA).
