Abstrakt: The article focuses on the theatrical production "Sodomite Warriors," performed by actors Kurt Fulton and Chazz Dean at Castillo Cultural Center in New York. The septet of performance pieces by homosexual actors examines many phases of the gay male experience. Offering bursts of compassion and black humor, the play is a cultural study of gay American life. The centerpiece of the act is the title segment "The Dance of Sodomite Warriors." Another section that no one understands is based on an American Indian shaman. The play makes a plea for gay tolerance, but it avoids spouting specific party lines.
