The article discusses the same sex marriage of world-class bodybuilder Bob Paris and International model Rod Jackson, which is a classic example of gay liberation in Middle America. Refreshingly so, these guys don't apologize for their sheer ordinariness. And they put those well-muscled butts on the line in the name of gay pride. It's been seven months since Paris, a major celebrity on the sweat-and-steroid circuit, came out in musclemag "iron man" for himself and the man he loves--the man he married last July at a Unitarian Church in Santa Monica. It was only a matter of time before they were on "Oprah," to titillate and challenge the value systems of American housewives. |
