Abstrakt: The article discusses the Military Energy Resilience Catalyst (MERC), a program that aims to strengthen installation energy resilience by connecting energy practitioners and providing resources and support. Historically, energy practitioners at military installations did not interact with each other or have access to energy resilience knowledge resources. MERC addresses this by creating a community of practice where professionals can share technologies, case studies, and lessons learned. The program includes site visits, access to experts, virtual programming, and technical assistance. MERC has supported numerous installation and regional energy managers across different military services, creating a collaborative network within the Department of Defense.
