Abstrakt: Researchers from the University of New Brunswick have conducted a study on the use of Fast Spin Echo MRI in biomedicine for proton density and T2 contrast imaging. The study focused on rock core plug studies and found that Fast Spin Echo measurements were more sensitive than SPRITE methods and usually featured higher resolution. The researchers concluded that their findings were general for MRI of fluids in porous media. This research has been peer-reviewed and published in the Journal of Magnetic Resonance.
