Thailand recently hosted the International Bonsai Convention, the first time the country has held such an event. The convention took place at Aryia Garden Resort, a private garden owned by the President of the Thai Bonsai Association. The event featured nine international headliners and 168 international Bonsai enthusiasts from Taiwan, Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, and Vietnam. The convention showcased the skills and knowledge of the participants and included a creative competition to encourage young people to join the bonsai community.
