Abstrakt: | A literary criticism of two novels including "Gun Island" by Amitav Ghosh and "Blaze Island" by Catherine Bush is presented. It discusses how the authors, Amitav Ghosh and Catherine Bush, address the call for a rethinking of realism in literary fiction to better engage with the climate crisis.
