A study conducted by researchers at Shijonawate Gakuen University explored the association between lifestyle habits and skin moisturizing function in older adults. The study found that the decline in skin moisturizing function with age can lead to skin dryness in approximately 40% of older individuals. The research indicated that daily use of moisturizer and physical activity were significantly associated with increased skin hydration, while smoking showed a trend towards decreased hydration. The findings suggest that lifestyle modifications, such as exercise and daily moisturizing, may improve the skin moisturizing function of older adults. [Extracted from the article] |
