Ube level ofradioactive carbon dioxide in tbe atmosphere bas shifted dramatically since tbe middle of tbe twentieth century. At tbat time, nuclear weapons tests resulted in considerably raised levels of tbe radioactive molecule. Tbe impact peaked in tbe early 1960s and, since tben, tbe radioactive level bas come back almost to where it was before tbe nuclear test period. Ube ambition bere is to discuss tbe character of tbe carbon dioxide curve in its diyerent phases witb an emphasis on wbat bas happened after tbe atmospheric tests stopped. Ube curve'S behaviour seems to raise an interesting questionfor climate change theory. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
