The article offers information on the modification of polyacrylonitrile fibers in an alkaline medium for use in textile sorbents. Topics include the scientific interest in surface activation using hydrogen peroxide, the lack of examination of thermal properties in modified fibers, and the study of thermooxidation and thermal degradation using thermogravimetric analysis. |
