Gord Ellis, Senior Editor of Ontario OUT of DOORS, was recently inducted into the Canadian Angler Hall of Fame. Ellis expressed his gratitude for the honor and reflected on his career in the industry, acknowledging the influence of other outdoor writers and his family's support. He was nominated by Phil Morlock, a Shimano executive, who praised Ellis for promoting the positive aspects of fishing and hunting, especially to youth and new Canadians. Ellis has also received numerous awards and recognition for his work in educating youth on outdoor issues. Two others, Andy Pallotta and Tom Brooke, were also honored at the ceremony.
