Jennifer Frewen, an associate director at Takero Shimazaki Architects, has been awarded the MJ Long Prize for Excellence in Practice for her work on the new global headquarters of the Royal Academy of Dance in London. Frewen and her team reimagined the building's footprint to seamlessly integrate it with the surrounding city. Frewen, who joined the practice in 2008, has previously worked on award-winning projects such as the Leicester Print Workshop and the Curzon Camden Cinema.
