Researchers from Zarqa University in Jordan have conducted a study on mathematical modeling and stability analysis of a novel fractional model in the Caputo derivative operator. The research aims to suggest a new mathematical operator for modeling visceral leishmaniasis, specifically the Caputo fractional-order derivative. By utilizing the Fractional Euler Method, the researchers were able to simulate the dynamics of the fractional visceral leishmaniasis model, evaluate the stability of the equilibrium point, and devise a treatment strategy for the disease. The study concludes that further research is needed to explore the fractional model and its impact on disease control, including the effectiveness of vaccinations and medications.
