The Journal of Historians of Netherlandish Art has published its Summer 2020 issue, which includes articles on various topics in art history. One article focuses on the Leiden plague hospital and its unexpected lack of subsequent plague outbreaks. Other articles discuss a lost devotional painting, a dynastic portrait, a perspective box, and a method for identifying watermarks. The journal also expresses gratitude to those who contributed to the issue and announces a grant for a digital project on textile mapping. The journal is archived by Portico and all articles are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution NonCommercial 4.0 International License. The editors encourage submissions for future issues.
