Abstrakt: The article discusses the concept of accountability in philanthropy and argues that it should be based on mutuality, relationships, and power analysis rather than compliance. The authors emphasize the importance of building strong relationships with grantee partners and taking responsibility for one's role in achieving shared goals. They critique conventional accountability practices that focus on judgment of the grantee's work and call for a shift towards mutual accountability.
