This article discusses the importance of increasing access to new therapies for Australian children and adolescents through clinical trials. It emphasizes the need for investment and a coordinated national approach to ensure that Australian children do not fall behind their international peers. The article highlights the benefits of collaborative approaches and strategic investment in pediatric clinical trials, as well as the challenges in delivering high-quality trials in this population.
