Abstrakt: The article discusses congenitally absent permanent teeth among mongols and their siblings. There are several reports in the literature of congenital absence of permanent teeth among mongols observed during clinical examinations including one case report of complete anodontia. Other studies have reported results of radiographic examinations of mongols, but either have not identified the teeth involved or have limited their observations to specific teeth. Three studies have combined various degrees of radiographic confirmation with clinical examinations and have reported findings by tooth type.
