Chapter 91 is presented of the volume on Irish playwright, novelist, poet and short story writer Oscar Wilde from "The Critical Heritage Series." Several letters are provided from the book "Robert Ross: Friend of Friends" edited by Margery Ross concerning Wilde's book "De Profundis." Journalist and art critic Robert Ross edited the book and sent copies of it to people he believed could restore Wilde's reputation including editor of the newspaper "Pall Mall Gazette," William Thomas Stead. |
